FLUORESENCE EXAMINATION
The categorization of blue fluorescence in diamonds and gemstones by gemmologists into the four intensity categories reported on GIA laboratory reports, ranging from “None” to “Strong”, calibrated as per GIA’s grading standard. And this is used as a determining factor in the pricing of colorless to near-colorless diamonds, and greatly aids in the sorting and grading of diamonds.
DIAMOND IDENTIFICATION
Our gemmologists classify and distinguish between natural diamonds, laboratory-grown, and other diamond simulants, and are identified as per the identification scale from Colorless to Near-Colorless; this optimizes the process of grading and sorting.
DETERMINING THE CHARACTERISTICS
